"Former Union Minister Mr. Yashwant Sinha's brief speech on Indian economy"
"The need of the hour is to increase the demand, which has caused unprecedented slowdown in the state. The simple solution is to reduce the cost of capital. At this time the rate of inflation is very low and hence there is no problem in losing interest rate" said Former Union Finance Minister Mr. Yashwant Sinha at Institute of Business Management and Research (IBMR) and Institute of Engineering and Services (IES) IPS. The academy expressed in the Karyakaram organized under the joint aegis of Indore. The program commenced with wreaths and lamp lighting at the Saraswati statue.

Shri Yashwant Sinha said that the merger decision of banks is correct but this decision has not been taken at the right time. Because of this, the maximum time of employees will be spent in administrative work, whereas the need is that banks should make effort to accelerate the economy.
Expressing his opinion on the decision of demonetisation, Sinha said that its main objective was to curb black money. The government was of the view that black money of 4-5K crores existing in the economy will not be returned. But about 99.3 percent of the money was returned to the banks, rendering its main objective fruitless.
Answering a question about the Reserve Bank of India, he said that due to several steps of the government, a serious question mark has been placed on the autonomy of the bank which is not in the interest of the country in any way.
